Gem 3200 v11--> ver60
« on: July 26, 2010, 08:32:21 PM »
HI,

 I'd like to know if I can use my current settings from my gemini 3200 V11E (using quickloader) into the current version 60?   I'm looking to replace my old board for a current version & this would make it so much easier to set up.......

"Version 11 can not take version 60 boards. You would need a
completely new master control."

Previous info from napco tech services. Different info available on
the other diy forum.....with this: prom chip upgrade would solve the
problem.

Poster on the other forum has chips for sale.

Hi,
I wanted to upgrade my 3200 panel with a newer firmware but it was totally failure. The version of the panel is V11 and I downloaded from Napco site the V70J19 version, thinking that is the nearest update for this panel. Unfortunately, when I tried to upload it to my panel with the PCD software and it started to read the file always stucked and sent "communication failure" message.
Dose anyone have any experience?
