Ademco Vista 15p
« on: July 17, 2011, 09:47:46 AM »
I own an Ademco 15p system that I originally installed but was upgraded last year.  Since there is no on-board wireless board added - they must have upgraded at least one of my keypads to one adding wireless zones as there are two wireless smoked detectors installed and running in addresses 09 and 10.

I want to add a 5800 series PIR to zone 11 - do I just go to *56 and * to zone 11 to install?

Yup. Just make sure there's nothing on that zone first.
I have all the answers . . . some of them are correct.

Thanks - however *56 does not show any prompts as I hit the * key.  The PIR indicates that I need to enroll by entering serial number?

You need to program with a 6160 Aplha keypad, you cant do it with a 6150 fixed alpha keypad.
