CAT ALARM
« on: June 07, 2012, 01:29:52 PM »
Last year, my wife and decided to install an alarm system in our Berlin row house. Since I'm a pro I thought I knew which brand to pick, what to take into consideration and stuff.
Everything worked out pretty well until we came home one night and found a note on our patio door :"Alarmanlage ging heute Abend zweimal los. Bitte finden Sie eine Lösung" We knew immediately that it was from our always concerned neighbor (complaining that she heard the alarm system twice that night). Funnily enough, she wasn't even concerned about criminals etc. Well, it proved she was right...we received some other complaints until we figured it were stray cats which set off the alarm(btw: our neighbor also has two cats).
Epic fail..

Doesn't bother me yet, inasmuch as I don't know if you have cats in your
home that triggered the alarm....and what your neighbors cats have
to do with anything, and what type of interior protection you have.

What's up with all that?

Richard, why on earth are you replying on a thread that died 5 years ago, with a problem that has no apparent relevance to it?

The way you started your post with "also..." makes me suspect you meant to post in a different thread somewhere. Is that what happened?
