Well, the half of my post describing my concerns disappeared :(

These are the suggestions from Blake from the homesecurity store. He seemed really nice and knowledgeable, but I thought I would post this up anyways.

I do have a 50lb dog, and I don't want her triggering anything. Thus the 100lb pet immunity is important.

The prices on this stuff is honestly much cheaper than I was expecting, so if there are better products for more money, I would like to consider them as well.

Things that I would like to consider in the future would include a bunch of Z-Wave devices to integrate into the system. I'm not sure if I can get away with not paying a monitoring fee for that though :(

I'm also not too clear on the wireless capabilities of this system. Upon further analysis, there is one window I am just not sure I am going to be able to hardwire. Would this system support a single wireless device for that window?

Thanks everyone!

I think you need at least one non touch screen keypad.. Some get a 6160rf and you will have full wireless support.

I agree with adding one none touchscreen keypad 6160 rf which would give you a hybrid system. If you are planning on just doing home automation locally and not remotely from anywhere in the world than there would be not additional charges for that. Let us know if you need any assistance or any great prices on alarm monitoring call 1-877-443-6276.
