rg6 and compression fittings
« on: September 01, 2013, 11:22:24 AM »
so this new connector is giving me fits as after crimping the wires they  do not appear to be crimped at all and just pulls out. i have viewed youtube videos of the process and do not know what im doing wrong.  also how does this forum attach images to posts? the insert image button does nothing.

Different cable has different dimensions and you need to use the right connector for the cable you have.  That's why compression connectors are color coded.
