Coax Crimp Die Selection
« on: September 26, 2014, 02:52:46 AM »
How does one select the proper crimp die for a given coax? I cannot find a single document on how to do this. Each die manufacturer lists some of the coax types that each die will do but doesn't specify which size is to be used for which cable so they can't be easily cross referenced. For instance I know that RG-59 uses the .300" die, at least it does on the Klein crimper, but I can't find what die size is used for a Belden 1855a cable. Any help would be appreciated.
