just set it to static with all the existing IP info.  changed the DNS server to 8.8.8.8.  sent changes to panel.  I'll see what happens!

We can connect with the systemlink/remotelink if we directly connect the computer (ip:192.168.1.y) to the panel via the network cable and not connected to any other network. Another configuration in the ip doesn't seem to work.

You connect directly from your computer to the panel via network cable and it communicates?  Off the wall Long shot here, are you using a crossover cable or a standard network cable?

No dice after changing the DNS server.  Today I contacted our tech guy at central station and got an account number on the DMP IP receiver and the receiver IP address.  Although I can go on my wifi and upload my panel, I cannot get this to bump signals out.  Doesn't seem to matter if it's static or DHCP.  This is starting to get very frustrating.

Are you able to do a comm test and hit the receiver?  Enter 984 then command and choose your network path that is programmed for the receiver.
