Help with DSC Power 1832 with smokes
« on: June 20, 2015, 11:15:41 PM »
I have successfully hooked up the security side of the 1832 but have had no luck with the smoke alarms. i have new FSA-210BT - DSC 2-Wire Photoelectric Smoke Detector w/ Heat. Currently i have only one installed with an EOL resistors on it. (triple red with gold ring). The LED light is currently blinking every 55s but it will not test or alarm. The Keypad will not receive a test. I have gone to into the installer section 009 and changed the pgm2 to 04. i have it installed aux+ and PGM2. When i disconnect the wires to the smoke, it goes into fire zone fault. so part of me thinks it is programmed half right.

ideas or suggestions to make this work correctly?

Verify your wiring connections...

Panel AUX+ to smoke +(1)
EOLR smoke +(2) to smoke -
Smoke - to AUX-
