Eight repeater limit set in stone?
« on: December 14, 2015, 06:01:13 PM »
The 1100R manual says that you can only have 8 repeaters on one system.  I'm currently working on a system where that limit is getting in the way.  Since they are just programmed as zones, I don't really understand how this limit exists as the panel doesn't even recognize the repeater as anything other than another zone.

Does anyone have any experience with this?  Also, just out of curiosity, why do repeaters need to be in sequential order in zone programming?

8 is it.  No more.
