That dropbox document is still online. Which document did you want?

I can't access the link with the instructions....  :((

Could you please send me all docs you have that helped you make the POwermAx Pro and POwerlink2 send emails?

It looks that you are the only one who recently made this work....

THanks!!

Wonder if anyone can help? I believe i have everything setup but i'm not getting the e-mails. The email connection to my smtp server is workign because through command line i can send e-mail. And  my console is talking to the raspi because i see it in the apache2 logs. But no  e-mail is going through. What I do see in the logs is the following error

:error] [pid 28045] [client X.X.X.200:53096] PHP Notice:  Use of undefined constant email - assumed 'email' in /var/www/html/scripts/notify.php on line 75

Thanks.

Has your powerlink actually got email addresses listed against the users. That error appears to suggest that the XML coming through to notify.php doesn't contain an email address.

I've attached a small php that I wrote that sends a POST XML to the notify.php which you can directly call from a browser. It's useful to check that your notify.php actually works and is also useful in case you want to make changes to the notify.php.

Put the testnotify.php, [rename it to testnotify.php if you downloaded the .txt version] in the same scripts folder as your update.php and your notify.php and try and run it directly from a browser [edit the server IP address and your email address in the script]

You should also check if your smtp server needs the email address specified in the From field. Mine did. So I had to change

The following line in the script

Code: [Select]
$headers .= 'From: central alarma'

to something like

Code: [Select]
$headers .= 'From: central alarma <myalarm@gmail.com>'

You don't seem to have curl installed on your server.

Great discussion going on here, and thanks for the the document junav...I seem to have a different issue, maybe someone has some insight.

I have an older version of the Powermax software on my alarm and it doen't have the "C.S. Reporting" menu to change the IP address.. so instead I changed it by telneting into the alarm and doing it from the cli menu

Run telnet to your Powerlink at port 7523, log in.
    Run: /misc/wc-pxa255/binaries/cli -d
    Select "7" ("DB operations").
    Select "2" ("Write To DB").
    Select "2" ("pmax tables db").
    Type "57" ("table id").
    Type "1" ("item number").
    Type "1" ("parameter").
    Type "192.168.0.14".
    Type "q q q".

After doing so I can now see the keep alive requests, and answers from my server, using wireshark... My problem is there are no notifications coming from the alarm, just keep alive requests.

I did notice the GET request has another field that wasn't in the one posted.  Mine has a "not_enrolled=1". Could it be the alarm is not accepting the reply?  I'm guessing the alarm doesn't send notifications unless the keep alives are working, is this true?  Not sure what else to try.  Thoughts?

Here is the get request:
[Full request URI: http://192.168.0.14:8080/scripts/update.php?serial=2310027302&id=ID&account=000000&ver_hw=123&ver_sw=3.1.11&ver_var=5000&upgrade_status=0&configuration_status=0&not_enrolled=1&]

My server responds with:
status =0&ka_time =50&allow =0&\n

Thanks for any help!

Has anyone been able to get Junav's solution working on a Synology Diskstation?  I see I can install Apache and PHP on Synology.  How would I get the SSMTP setup?
Thanks!

Hi

Thanks to your informations, i was able to set up my server and receive mails from powerlink2.
Unfortunately, i receive mail only for "web portal user login" event, not for arm, disarm or alarm events even if all event types are checked in the setup page.

Any clues to fix this problems?
