Not possible for your system to ask for a password to arm, just a 4 digit code

Master code is programmed in section 007.

* 8 xxxx 007 yyyy #

xxxx - installer code
yyyy - master code

The above procedure changes the master user code from 1234 to a code of your choice.

How exactly are you trying to arm it?  By using one of the shortcut away/stay buttons on the right side of the keypad?

I tried, but it does not ask for a password when I want to arm it.
How do I set it up so that it asks for a password when I want to arm it?
Please help me

If you go into keypad programming and change key 1 and key 2 to 00 on each keypad this will require a passcode for arming the system. The downside of this is you will have the keypad sounder beeping each time that you arm the system and you will have to bypass interior zones when staying inside after arming.
BEFORE all else fails

If you don't exit, it should bypass the Interior zones automatically, They did this for false alarms.

If you don't want the one touch function arm/stay/away keys to work, change the settings for those keys to 00, then you will have to enter a 4 digit code to arm.

Wouldn't it be easier just to disable Quick Arming? Section 015 option and turn off option 4.
