Lose chime mode after entering/exiting Installer mode

Hi everyone.  I have a 6160 keypad and a Vista 20P.  I like to keep it in Chime mode (4-digit code + 9).

When I enter installer mode, then exit installer mode (*99), the chime mode setting is lost and I need to enter my 4-digit code + 9 agian.

Is there any way to avoid that step and have the chime mode be persistent?

No, that is how it's designed to work and you can't change it unfortunately.
