NAPCO GEMINI P3200 key fobs
« on: August 25, 2018, 08:17:12 AM »
Colleagues: Updated 9/3/18

Currently fobs report as panic. Need detailed steps, start to finish, to program 7 WP Panics to separate zones so they report a location. Zones have 8 spaces for the wireless address, key fobs only have 7 numbers. How do you enter them?

Regards

Hi,
You cannot add more fob, only 8 places available.
You can program the AUX 1-2 on the fob but if assigning a keyfob to a zone, the ON/OFF buttons on the keyfob will no longer arm/disarm the system. The fob is converted to a "panic only" device. To assign a key fob to a zone: program the fob as you would a transmitter.
Gem-recv: If you want to add a new receiver -connect the wires to the panel's terminals  (BUS-9-10-11-12) and set the number of RF receivers (max.2) (address 3776).
The receiver's jumper just leave it on the default mode.

Regards

Thanks Ben I'll let you know how it comes out.
Never knew you responded, found by accident! No email when someone replies?

The wireless code consist of a 6-digit number and check digit :2 (2EFE18:2). After those numbers you should type 1,2 or 9 numbers (2EFE18:2-1). You should set the zone option menu (address from 0900) which zone contains the kefob, for example zone 8 (addr-0909/24-hour zone, press 8 to accept for panic.
You can use one button for signalling.
If you programmed the key fob like a transmitter, don't programmed it like a key fob at the same time.
