Security Camera - Surveillance Forum / Security for business
« on: June 30, 2017, 03:09:37 AM »
Running small business calls for you to take a number of risks. Even as a small business, you have important and critical elements to protect, including files, computers, goods you may sell, and many other assets.
Most of us are of the concept that a business security system is expensive or overkill, and is only needed for big businesses. But the reality is that business security systems come in many different sizes. Commercial security monitoring services not only provide protection against thieves but also safeguard against fire and vandalism. No one knows while trouble can be present itself. Hence, it's vital to keep your business from being vulnerable.

Mainly there are two options in case you're seeking out a business security system. Either you can self-install a wireless system, or hire a professional to install a hardwired system. When it comes to protection, most small businesses are searching out a system that detects intruders through sensors, sounds an alarm when triggered and notifies authorities.

It was my friends greatest dream to start up a company. She had been struggling with it for the past few years and now it bore the fruit. But she was not having an idea on how to make the company secured with security systems. As she requested my help, I suggested her the key factors to be noted while installing a security system.

1. Video solutions
It mainly includes video surveillance cameras that can protect your small business against crimes such as shoplifting, vandalism, and employee theft.

2. Access Control
Access control systems can protect your main entrances as well as sensitive areas of your business. When you want to protect valuable assets or increase employee safety, flexible electronic access control solutions can be used.

3. Intrusion Alarms
Intrusion alarms can provide small businesses with effective and affordable protection for employees and property due to unauthorized entry, robbery, burglary, holdup, theft, and vandalism.

4. Fire & Life Safety
Fire and life safety systems can ensure that the people and property are protected from fire and smoke.
If you have any suggestions on how to make your workplaces secure, do share it. It would be helpful for the needy.

Fire Alarm System Forum / Fire attack prevention

Each year, thousands of people are either killed or injured in house fires. Preparing for the worst always gives you the best chance for survival. Hence it's very important to conduct a thorough inspection and identify the hazards that exist in your house, one room at a time. First of all,  I think a fire extinguisher is very necessary for each house. As the kitchen is the place which has more possibility of catching fire, more care must be taken. Recently, I came across an article on security services that talks about having a house fire prevention checklist. It describes the tips to be followed in each and every part of the house to prevent fire accidents. It says that it is very necessary to install a fire alarm system monitoring. I found it very useful. If you have any other ideas on how to prevent fire accidents at home please do share it. It would be of great help for all those who are in need of it like me.
Thanks in advance.

Home Security Camera Forum / Security advice for aging parents

Hai friends,
I am the only child of my parents. My parents are aged and both of them are diabetic. I'm working and leave home early in the morning and reach back only by night. I know it's not fair to leave my parents alone but I'm left with no other option. Recently I came across an article titled 5 security tips for a personal caregiver(http://cspalarms.ca/blog/security/5-security-tips-for-a-personal-caregiver/). It says that the primary role as a personal caregiver is to ensure that the home of the person you’re caring for is safe. Depending on the age, mobility and mental capacity of the person you’re administering care to, you may need to take certain precautions so that the home is a safe environment. I have heard about medical panic pedants. Are they reliable? Will they send alert messages promptly? All suggestions are welcome.

Home Security Camera Forum / Re: Buying a security camera

Hi, our area is vulnerable to burglary attacks and recently our neighbor lost his valuables like ornaments and cash. My husband suggested me to install any security system in our house so that we are safe. He has contacted one of the intrusion alarm systems in our area and we planned to install it in our house. But I am a bit confused about the terms, two-way voice and geo-fencing. My friend suggests that the 2-way system is an additional feature that allows the user to communicate with the monitoring center directly. This could be a great help for safeguarding our house in times of emergencies. I would like to know more about geofencing. Expecting replies. Thank you.

As the theft is increasing day by day it is very good to install a security system.
Your idea is quite good. 2-way systems can help in increasing the security.
