Home Security Camera Forum / Residential security system
« on: April 28, 2017, 04:59:49 AM »
As my house is very old I am planning to renovate it for my daughterís bday on  26th of August this year. As she is our only daughter we have decided to make it a grand function inviting all our relatives and friends. We have decided to organize the party at home itself.
As there will be lots of jewelry at home, I am thinking of securing the house. Thus along with the renovation, I am planning to install a security system at home which involves CCTV cameras. With the help of the CCTV camera solutions in Vancouver, we will be able to monitor each part of the house hence burglary attack can be prevented to a large degree. Do you have any ideas on how security can be strengthened? Could you please offer me any suggestions on how to choose the best security company?

That was informative. Thanks.

Thank you for the replies. What if we are not able to make a call to 911?

Security Systems and Home Automation / Safety apps

Hi all, I am starting my career as a  building technician. It is my dream job and as you might know, there are several risks involved in this and requires a lot of travel and night work. My family is worried about me working late hours and I donít know how to convince them. When my sister did some research online for some safety tips she saw an article on a lone worker safety app . She says that this app can be downloaded on your smartphone and with the press of a button, a signal will be sent to the monitoring center at the time of emergency. I donít know much about this app and would like to get suggestions from you all if you have used it.

Glad that you installed a security system. It makes people feel safer. I am also trying to get one.

As you are looking for commercial purpose, do not go for wireless. Also, don't think about cheap ones. Refer to some online sites and you would get an idea.
