ADT focus 200 to Ademco 128 fbp
« on: July 31, 2010, 08:26:21 AM »
I went to look over a system that needs to be changed out within the next month last night and ended up with more questions than answers. The existing panel is an ADT focus 200 and they want to use an Ademco 128.All the zones ( 61 ) are on the polling loop except for a couple of troubles and tampers. I know I'll have to replace the SIM modules they're using for pull stations, flows, tampers and duct detectors but was hoping I might be able to use the ADT door contacts, motions and smokes as they seem to have the 7-digit ID codes. Are these proprietary ID codes for the Focus or can they be transferred over to the 128?  Thanks

I think they can be used.

The Focus 200 should be in the mercantile Ademco can, so the FBP board will fit right in there.  The Focus platform is a mixed breed, I think it's Honeywell stuff with a Bosch platform.  it is proprietary.
